Christie’s in London had a huge auction in September last year with photographs, clothes and other personal belongings that were once owned by Audrey Hepburn. Most of those items were part of Christie’s exhibition in London for just a few days…
Christie’s is having another auction this May (online only) and in “honor” of that I thought I would show you some photos from the last auction.
Without any further ado, here are some photos from the exhibition.
Sadly I wasn’t able to get something but I know quite a few people who did manage to get their hands on something. People who genuinely care for and about Audrey and that’s all I was hoping for her. It’s sad that most things will never be seen again but it’s good to know that at least part of it has a good home now.
Fun Fact | Audrey’s working script from Breakfast at Tiffany’s was actually bought by Tiffany’s & Co. which I think is pretty cool!
The crazy thing was that Henry Wilkinson (amazing person and aspiring designer) and I were interviewed by a journalist from the BBC. You can find the interview right here.
